I have used this for over 800 miles of commuting as well as over 800 miles of offroad. I have used in the rain, mud, sun, and cold. It is mounted to a 2024 Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition. The bike was dropped offroad 3 times.

BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front):
I am impressed with the shift lever. It provides positive bite to your offroad boots when shifting, meaning your toe is not going to slip off when trying to shift. Much more solid than stock, very little flex. The included extension made all the difference offroad for me given the Nordens ergos. The seat design pushes your legs out like riding a horse. Meaning the shift lever extension puts it back where it should be and provides more offroad confidence that you are not going to be missing shifts when it counts. Product Description

A Heavy Duty Billet Shift Lever with Folding Tip machined for an exact fit for the KTM 790/890 Adventure R/S models as well as the Husqvarna 901 Norden. These levers come complete with shift tip and a removable extension. The lever has been reshaped so that lower positions can be achieved (please read through the FEATURES below).

Features:

2 Mount Locations for shifting Tie Rod - Factory Position and Extra Low Position
Shifter can be lowered signifancly further than factory shift lever. This is to help accomate ergonomics with lowered footpegs.
1/2" Lower positioning is possible over factory. The caveat to this is that we lose 1/2" of the upper range of travel so if your factory shift lever is positioned high in the upper range of travel limits this is not a product for you.
Sealed precision Japanese deep groove ball bearings
Significantly larger cross-section over the factory unit improves both strength from impacts as well as rigidity to remove the flex felt in the factory pedal
No more soft rubber tip for more positive gear engagement
Bolt on 1/4" (6mm) long Stainless Steel shift tip extension included for those that would like a longer shifting tip. Just remove it if you prefer the factory length!
