I have used this for over 800 miles of commuting as well as over 800 miles of offroad. I have used in the rain, mud, sun, and cold. It is mounted to a 2024 Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition. The bike was dropped offroad 3 times.

BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front):
I REALLY like the fuel filler. The stock cap requires a key to open, which is annoying to get at. It also has a recess meaning that dirt and water pools there, so when you open to add fuel it can get into the tank. This fuel filler solves those problems. No recess, No key needed. You can keep your gloves on and fill. Also, since the filler is raised it helps reduce the change of spilling fuel. Plus it looks GREAT on the bike! Tired of removing your ignition key to access the fuel tank just to watch the gathered dust/debris deposit itself into your fuel injection system? Your solution is right here with this CNC part machined from billet aircraft grade aluminum with an anodized BLACK finish. The kit includes all necessary mounting hardware as well as a Machined Billet Cap in matching color. This unit retains the factory venting location. A new Viton O-ring will be used when installing this unit (included).
