Lucky Loon Review

I have used this for over 800 miles of commuting as well as over 800 miles of offroad. I have used in the rain, mud, sun, and cold. It is mounted to a 2024 Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition. The bike was dropped offroad 3 times.

BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front):
I am very impressed with the case saver. Not only does it provide peace of mind in the event of a chain break but it also looks REALLY good! A huge benefit of this case saver besides its purpose is the fact that it makes it MUCH easier to clean. You can get into the area and get all the mud or debris that builds there. Its Extremely difficult with the stock guard. MADE IN AMERICA, by Andrew Vanasche from billet to complete product.

Product Description

CNC machined from a solid piece of billet aircraft grade aluminum this case saver was built to protect your fragile engine case and stator cover. In addition to the protection it also provides a window to view your front sprocket condition and access to clean/remove debris unlike the stock cover. Each case saver comes with a proper chain slider machined from UHMW that helps reduce chain clatter at low engine speeds.

Color Note: The Chartreuse color is now offered as an option. This is a powdercoated product rather than using the anodize process. We will do very limited production runs in this color given the cost of coating and difficulty in product preparation. 

Maximum Front Sprocket Size: 16 Teeth (factory size)

Updated Fitment Notes: 

  • Does NOT fit with TUSK skid plate
  • Does NOT fit with SW Motech crash bars
  • Does NOT fit with Hepco Becker crash bars
  • Does NOT fit with AXP's TOURING skid plate (this one has a bracket that bolt directly to the engine) - we have custom machined chain sliders to make this product work with the AXP touring skid but you MUST REACH OUT TO US before placing an order so we can get you the correct parts. 
  • Anything that is utilizing the M8 threaded engine hole can not be used with this case saver. Impact protection should not be mounted directly to the engine as these products do.
