The M&P line is a dependable, good shooting, and well built.
I have had a few different versions of this pistol and never had issues with it. The new 2.0 series has trigger, grip, and slight design improvements. Its now a well refined pistol.
For me its in the same field of a Glock, but has a more familiar grip angle.

Designed to shoot bigger, faster, flatter, and farther. Whether for hunting, self-defense, or the range M&P 10mm delivers when you need it most. Low barrel bore axis makes the M&P pistol more comfortable to shoot reducing muzzle rise and allowing for faster aim recovery. The patented take-down lever and sear deactivation systems allow for disassembly without pulling the trigger. It features a slide cut for optics, optimal 18-degree grip angle, extended rigid embedded stainless steel chassis to reduce flex and torque when firing & Armornite durable corrosion resistant finish. The M&P10 comes with four interchangeable palmswell grip inserts with enhanced grip texture which allows the user to manage recoil, keep a firm grip, and delivers comfort when concealing.
