BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front) This is the Toyota of 1911's. Cheap, dependable, fairly reliable, and easily customized. There is nothing else at this price point I would even bother with. These particular 1911s are not the most refined, but are reliable shooters and a good way to get into the 1911. You can always work on and upgrade these 1911's fairly easily to make something that works just right for you.
