Lucky Loon Review
I have tested this tent in a blizzard, summer heat, and fall temps in Minnesota. I used it with my 2024 Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition.
BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front):
This tent is made of quality materials and has a decent design. I would say this tent is more for older riders riding a larger bike such as a GS. 99% of the time you will not put your bike inside unless there is extreme weather coming, such as snow, hail and similar conditions. There is a lot of room for some awesome upgrades to the design (which I hear is coming). The garage area is GREAT for hanging things up to dry, getting gear out of the weather, hanging out when raining, having a place to change, and being able to stand! The tent is TOO hot in temps over 85 degrees, there is not enough ventilation to cool it off. Id say its AWESOME in the 30-70 degree range. It requires A LOT of stakes, so if you are in a rocky area, I do not recommend.
Pros:
-Excellent waterproofness and material choice.
-Red inside is calming and easy to find your gear
-Garage area is AMAZING for using as a porch/hang out out of the weather
-Standing room
-Shelter for the bike in extreme weather
-Gear pockets in the garage
Cons:
-Too warm in hot weather
-Needs a ridge pole for extra support
-Held up by too many stakes
-Heavy/Bulky
-Price

1. Fully waterproof
The outer tent is made from ultralight and UV-resistant Rip-Stop polyester fabric (210T) with a 10 000mm waterproof coating to keep you and your gear dry at all times no matter how heavy the rainfalls are. The material is also Fire-Retardant for your safety.
2. Ventilation
The sleeping area is equipped with 3 doors, each one equipped with a mosquito net.
3. Rain flaps covering all zippers
To keep the rain out, all zippers of the outer tent are covered by double overlapping fly sheet material.
4. Massive storage areas
The garage area can also be used to store gear and luggage in, all hidden away from rain and curious bypassers.
5. Color-coded pole system
The MotoTent is held up by 3 collapsable poles made from aircraft-grade aluminum. They are of course color-coded for an easier and faster setup.
6. Large entry doors
The garage area is equipped with 3 large doors that can be rolled up or used as awning when purchasing our Awning kits. If you need to access the sleeping area without walking through the garage, you can do so via the lower short side.
7. Waterproof flooring
The floor of the inner tent is made from 190T Nylon with the same waterproof rating as the outer tent (10 000mm). It has the shape of a "tub" which guarantees that the inside of your tent stays completely dry even if the camping ground gets waterlogged.
8. Accessory pockets
The inner tent is equipped with several mesh pockets on both sides so you can store smaller accessories for fast access.
